Enigma, the independent creative and media agency, today announced the appointment of Clare Yardley—an industry veteran with over a decade of experience at BMF Australia—as its new Head of Creative Services. Yardley also brings leadership credentials from Saatchi & Saatchi and The Campaign Palace. In this pivotal role, she will overhaul and embed agency-wide operational systems to increase delivery quality, drive cost efficiencies, and foster collaboration across departments. Simon Lee, Enigma’s Chief Creative Officer and partner, described her as the “emotionally intelligent oil that keeps an agency humming” and said she fits the brief “down to a tee”. Yardley said, “I’m thrilled to join an agency that genuinely values creative operations… I can’t wait to start shaping how we work”.
Her appointment is part of a wider leadership expansion at Enigma, following the earlier hires of Simon Lee in March and Aldo Ferretto in June—signalling a strategic push to build a robust and integrated creative division. Observers note that in an era where creative excellence is inseparable from operational efficiency, Yardley’s track record in building workflows and systems positions Enigma to scale its creative capabilities without compromising on quality. As agencies intensify competition on both creative and commercial fronts, this move underscores Enigma’s ambition to lead with structured agility, delivering world-class campaigns backed by solid internal architecture.
